All are invited to welcome back, and join artist Francesco Geronazzo for the DADAA BIG Book PROJECT! The aim will be to finalise the Ink & Thread 3-year project with the creation of a visual diary (big book) that tells the amazing stories captured over the last 3 years of work created across the Midwest and Wheatbelt with DADAA and Francesco.
Open Studio Details
Francesco will use traditional Intaglio materials to honour the quality of the memories made with regional communities and artists over the course of the project.
Francesco’s studio is open Wednesday to Friday, 10am to 2pm at The Exchange in Carnamah, commencing Wednesday, 30th July to 8th August. All are welcome, there is no cost or booking required. Just pop in to take part, have a cuppa and chat.
About Francesco
Printmaker. Sculptor. Teacher. Deep thinker. Italian born, Margaret River-based Francesco Geronazzo is an internationally renowned artist who is always seeking new knowledge and pushing boundaries with his artistic practice. He was introduced to the art of printmaking at high school and subsequently honed his skills as an etching assistant, followed by a masters’ degree in graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna where he has also lectured in printmaking. Francesco runs printmaking classes through his business, Margaret River Printmaking.
