Returning due to popular demand! Join us for a two day Raku workshop, learn the ancient art of Raku firing with guest artist Sue Luker.
Originating in Japan in the early 1550s, Raku is considered one of the most magical and exciting forms of pottery.
Removing the pot from the kiln when it's glowing red and placing it in a container containing flammable materials causes a vigorous reaction, creating patterns and colours rarely achieved by traditional firing.
Class Dates & Times: Thursday 31st & 7th August 10:00 - 16:00
All materials and firings are included in the course price as well as a delicious lunch on both days.
