Spinbox

Cliff Brown, Sam Montero and Luke Szoltysek met playing with the Jazz Collosus big band, and quickly realised they all had a passion for small group funk, swing, blues and groove based music. They got together and formed Spinbox, taking songs and styles from Blue Note, New Orleans, Chicago blues and mixing and modifying them within the framework of an organ trio. You'll hear classic instrumentals and songs by The Meters, Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell, Jimmy Smith, etc.
