COMEDY NIGHT in support of MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT
Sunday 12th October 2025
Club & Kitchen open 6pm
First act on stage at 8pm
With the Laughing Badgers, long-term MC Matt Hake is currently receiving treatment and support during his fight with stage 4 lung cancer. He wanted the chance to show his Macmillan nurses what he does on stage and see if anything could be done to raise some money for MacMillan Cancer Support.
So here we are with a fantastic lineup who have helped to make this night possible.
Headlined by the hottest new act around, Mark Simmons!!!!
Mark has previously performed at Laughing Badger nights and has since gone on to be crowned "Dave's funniest joke of the Fringe" in 2024, appeared on TV's Mock the Week, headlined his own tour of the UK, Australia and New Zealand, appeared on New Zealand panel show 7 Days and is currently preparing for his 2026 UK tour.
You have to see Mark before it's no longer possible to get him in venues like this.
Support comes from local favourites Impressionist Stephen Owen, funny magic man Stu Turner, and the deadpan Chris Norton Walker, with Matt Hake hosting this brilliant night for us.
Definitely a show not to be missed and for a good cause!!
Tickets are only £5 and on sale Friday 5th & 12th September between 8pm to 9pm
