How to Sleep Well – a Buddhist approach
Tuesday 19th & 26th August, 7:30-8:45pm
meditation classes with Buddhist nun, Gen Kelsang Chogma
These two special classes will look at meditations that can help us sleep better. Sleep helps to restore the energy of the body and to bring the elements of the body into harmony, thereby making the body comfortable and prolonging life.
Buddha taught that to fall asleep means that our inner energy winds gather inwards making our mind more subtle, so we can learn meditations to purify our inner winds so that they can gather inwards more easily and smoothly. We will also learn how to relax our mind and let go of distracting thoughts that are keeping us awake.
Hopefully you’ll stay awake in class but then get a fabulous night’s sleep at home!
£7 per class (existing pre-pay cards can be used)
No need to book – just come along to any class.
