Jazz Classique returns to Summerfest with A Jazz Collective—a vibrant and intimate afternoon of original jazz by pianist and composer John Mochnick. Featuring a dynamic blend of blues, bebop, ballads, and more, the program spans two decades of Mochnick’s compositions, offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience these distinctive works performed together for the first time.

The ensemble includes Mochnick on piano, Wiley Porter on guitar, Matt Kendrick on bass, and Larry Carman on drums. Together, they bring a refined yet adventurous sound that honors jazz traditions while carving out new musical terrain.
