Meet and Greet with Jason Esteves, Democratic Candidate for Governor of Georgia

I am thrilled to introduce Savannah to Sen. Jason Esteves, who is running for Governor of Georgia. I met Jason when he was on the Atlanta Board of Education, and we shared a passion for public education. Since then, he has served as President of APS and State Senator. When I think of who I want to represent me at the state level, Jason is my ideal candidate (other than being a woman, no candidate is perfect!). He is a former schoolteacher, turned lawyer, turned small business owner, all while working as a public servant for Georgians. He supports families and women, including their right to make decisions regarding their reproductive health. He has navigated Georgia's out-of-step health care system in advocating for his mother's advanced Alzheimer's care. And like all amazing men, a strong woman stands behind him. His wife Ariel, who owns and runs her own healthcare medical office, served with me on the Board for Planned Parenthood SE.
