Rotary in Action: How Communities Can Help End Human Trafficking
Amelia Stansell, a national leader in the fight against human trafficking, will speak at a community event on Tuesday, August 5 from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at the Wilsonville Public Library. Dinner will be provided.
Presented by the District 5100 Empowering Women and Girls Committee, this program features Amelia’s work as National Vice President of the Rotary Action Group Against Slavery and co-founder of the Fauquier Anti Sex Trafficking Alliance (FASTA). With experience leading community education efforts in partnership with law enforcement and advocacy organizations, Amelia brings a powerful message of prevention, awareness, and action.
This presentation offers an opportunity to better understand the realities of human trafficking and how individuals, organizations, and communities can work together to support survivors and stop exploitation.
