Join us as Toledo’s talented wordsmith, Floeticlydivine, leads July’s workshop at 6pm on July 29th when we’ll be Digging in to Poetry.

Floeticlydivine is a Toledo born and raised poet who started writing at a young age. She continued on into her adulthood writing plays, skits and monologues along with her poetry. Her love for the arts is one of the motivational factors when performing, hosting or organizing events. Floeticlydivine is the former host of Poetryspeaks open mic, which was held weekly before the pandemic. She always says poetry is therapy for the soul, never stop writing. Floeticlydivine has travelled and performed many places and is available for booking as a host or spoken word artist.

WritersShop Writing Workshops are free and open to all. Hosted by Lucas County Poet Laureate Jonie McIntire, WritersShop workshops are lead on the final Tuesday of each month from 6-8pm by a different area literary artist. The next three workshops will be August 26 at Point Place library lead by Jack Cheng; September 30 at Point Place library lead by Ray McNiece; and October 28 at Point Place library lead by Chiquita Mullins Lee.
