Transylvanian Dance with Lucian Ban and Mat Maneri

Pianist Lucian Ban and violist Mat Maneri reimagine through improvisation the Béla Bartók Field Recordings of Transylvanian folk songs. Century-old songs are brought to life with live performance, audio from the original Edison wax cylinder recordings, rare handwritten manuscripts, and photographs taken by Béla Bartók.

Light hors d’oeuvres and one beverage are included at Left Bank Café.
