The Fair Shake Initiative, a program of the West Virginia Statewide Independent Living Council (WVSILC), was created to carry on the important work of the former Fair Shake Network. As part of that commitment, WVSILC is proud to continue the tradition of hosting the Annual Partner’s Appreciation Picnic.
This event is more than just a casual gathering—it’s an opportunity for our partners to come together, share information about their organizations, and build meaningful connections. Attendees are encouraged to provide brief updates about their organization’s location, purpose, and events.
The picnic will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Roadside Park in St. Albans, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a meeting, followed by lunch around noon.
Moshpit Munchies will provide hot dogs, buns, and all the fixings. Guests are welcome to bring a side dish, dessert, or drinks to share.
In addition to great food, the day will include music, games, and door prizes— come and relax, while having casual conversations and making connections.
