Tuitio Fidei

Tuitio Fidei , Latin for "Defence of the Faith" is a new exhibition by Tonio Mallia, exploring the spirit of the Knights of Malta and the Great Siege of 1565. Inspired by Malta’s rich history and the origins of MUŻA, Mallia combines large-scale paintings with dramatic lighting and immersive sound to evoke a dark yet heroic past. This exhibition is shaped by a contemporary response to sacred visual traditions that brings history to life through art.
