NDS-X Drawing Lessons #5-6, Memory + Pareidolia

Basic lessons in observational and performative drawing, following the Proposition and Contradiction-method. Lesson 5-6 (of 6) is thematically focused on memory and pareidolia (seeing patterns or images in random things, like clouds or star constellations) . We will explore cognitive themes through free-drawing, anti-memory, synchronised drawing, simultaneous drawing, gestural, anti-gestural, form, anti-form, and performative shadow drawing.
Bring charcoal, crayons and a wooden board (min A3), a portable stool and a big drawing pad.
The lessons are supervised by Samuel Nyholm, illustrator, fine artist and professor in illustration at the Art University in Bremen. Co-supervised by Adam Nilsson, transdisciplinary coordinator of NDS. We will meet at the Sphinx in the Botanical Garden in Lund.
