SHS Clean-Up Day

Save the Date: August 9, 2025 (9:00AM - 3:00 tentatively)
We are going to put together a clean-up crew to fix up the SHS playground area.
The plan is going to involve weeding, trimming, washing and repairing the rear outside recess area in preparation for the start of school.
Right now, this is going to be general clean up and mulching the bank between the two play yards. All skill levels welcome.
We're going to need volunteers to help get this done.
What you'll need and/or can bring to help:
1.) Gloves (there are a lot of weeds)
2.) Rakes / Shovels / other yardwork type tool
3.) Brooms
4.) Wheelbarrows and buckets for mulch
We already have a pressure washer and contractor bags.
What we really need is some help. So, whether you can help for an hour or all day it is appreciated.
No registration for this, just show up. We'll have you sign in and sign out to capture how much time you spend there for your volunteer hours.
The rain date, or second day for this, if needed, is August 10th. But it does seem like it should be a one-day project (I've been wrong before).
