We will meet at the pavilion near Animal Control at 9am and head out to a spot we've identified for the workday.
We will give a quick training for folks on what plants we're targeting, how to identify, and how to remove.
If you have pruning shears, loppers, or other cutting implements that you would like to use, please bring them! We will have some community tools for folks as well.
If you have gloves please bring them! We will have a few pairs for folks to use if you don't have your own.
The day is from 9 to noon, but feel free to leave early or come late.
Remember to bring water. Ideally wear clothing that protects you from biting inspects and poison ivy. Bathrooms are available at Bates Woods Park, near the entrance to the park.
