Fit and Strong is an evidence based, multiple-component program for older adults developed by the Center for Research on Health and Aging at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Recent studies show that multiple component programs like Fit & Strong can improve both aerobic capacity and muscle strength plus promote mobility and independence.
Fit and Strong is a 60 minute exercise component including
warm-up, stretching, aerobic, strength training, cool down,
and a group education/discussion.
Come join us for improved aerobic capacity, strength, mobility and have fun!
All are welcome to join!
