When should you harvest your summer fruits and vegetables? Join Master Gardener Ann Liu at Davis United Methodist’s Grace Garden for a free workshop. You’ll learn first-hand how to determine when your produce is ripe. Ann will also discuss garden maintenance and planning for your fall garden.

Grace Garden is a volunteer-run, 5/8-acre garden that provides thousands of pounds of fresh produce to help feed the hungry every year. The garden also provides teaching and outreach to educate the community about gardening, the environment, and sustainable practices.

Ann, team leader for Grace Garden volunteers and a master gardener since 2011, brings a wealth of gardening experience to her workshops.

The mission of the UC Master Gardener Program is to deliver pioneering UC research directly into the hands of people who share a passion for gardening and environmental stewardship.
