Enjoy a free performance with Gaelic harp, button accordion, cittern, and vocals.
This concert marks Ann and Charlie’s 50th year together in a musical journey that has led to travel throughout the U.S., Ireland, Scotland, Wales, continental Europe, and Australia.
Known as “The pioneer who returned the Gaelic harp to a living tradition” (The Scottish Harp Society), Ann is a premiere performer and authority on the wire-strung Irish harp known as “Cláirseach” (Klar-shuck; literally “board/wooden trough” and “woman”).
Charlie is always happy to knock out tunes on the button accordion, and he also sings a broad range of material in Irish and English spanning over a thousand years, both a cappella and with his distinctive cittern.
Besides performing, the couple has given university and festival lectures, workshops, and seminars wherever they’ve travelled throughout the world.
