Wildflower Walk on the Concord River Greenway
Advertisement
Explore the abundant wildflowers growing along the Concord River on Thursday, August 14th, 9-11 AM.
The Concord River Greenway is a pollinator’s corridor filled with various wildflowers growing along the trail and river banks.
We’ll be walking from the Lawrence Street entrance to the pedestrian bridge and back (or you can continue along the Greenway to Jollene Dubner Park). The walk is about a mile round-trip and we will keep the pace leisurely with frequent stops to observe flora and fauna.
Please dress for the weather, including sturdy shoes. We will walk in light rain, but if there is heavy rain, thunderstorms, or extreme heat, we’ll postpone the event to August 27th.
