Alterations 101 with Kreations by Kristyn 19 Aug

Would you like to learn to repair your own clothes and create your own unique look?
This workshop proposes to teach basic clothing alterations from sewing a button, hemming jeans to changing a sleeve length to replacing a zipper.
Bring your own clothes to alter or practice on samples provided. Sewing machines and overlockers will be available at MakerSpace but if you have your own machine or tools and want to get more familiar with them, please feel free to bring them along.
You will learn which thread is suitable for various fabrics, hand stitching skills, get machine use practice and find out the best finishing technique for your unique style.
