Swamis Sunday: Out-and-Back Camino del Rey

We’ll go north on the coast and take the San Luis Rey bike path east. From there, we’ll wind our way to scenic Camino del Rey. But no Champagne. We simply make a U-turn at the end of Camino Del Rey and head west. Rest stop is the park bathrooms on the SLR Bike path.

The goal is a steady state ride at B and C levels. That means staying in zone 2 on the flats and zone 3 on the little pitches … a conversation-paced ride. No surging or attacking.
