It coincided that we got handed an eviction notice at the same time as our funds were quickly depleting. This is an end of the life-cycle of Luna6. And there have been many since the community resource center moved to Naujininkai in 2019. Thank you everyone for all the help during those six years--especially our our long-time patrons!
We will update on the situation in more detail in the coming weeks. Just to say it briefly: we are currently working on sketching plans for finding initial funds and a possible new location. In this phase, all left-leaning struggles and initiatives are welcome to join this process, and use this opportunity to its fullest. Also, don't hesitate to reach out with proposals or finds!
On a brighter note – we are closing the Zanavykų street 6 space with a silly, joyous and cunning festivity in two parts – come!
From 18hrs at Luna6, Zanavykų g. 6. Sometime before 22:00 we lock the Luna6 doors on Zanavykų 6 shut!
From 22:00 we are reconveening in SODAS2123, with more music by Malka Sultan, Eglė Trimailovaitė, Gabriela Dasaga, and archeologija (Luceja and Varvara).
