Yellowstone Portrait Painters

The Billings Public Library is proud to work with the Yellowstone Portrait Painters in hosting a new monthly art program for patrons to experience, and maybe even participate in. Once a month, a collection of local artists will work in their preferred medium to paint/draw/sculpt their interpretation of a live model sitting under the library's oculus.
For their August appearance, the Portrait Painters will be a special addition to this year's ArtWalk event at the library, where we host over 20 artists from the Billings Arts Association for a miniature art festival in the library!
While the artists participating in the event have already been selected, we encourage others to find a nearby seat and use pens/pencils to draw their own portrait!
