Wil Blades

**Wil Blades** is one of the most soulful and inventive organists of his generation, known for his deep grooves and genre-blurring sound. After two decades as a staple of the Bay Area music scene, Blades relocated to Los Angeles in 2020, eager to explore new creative terrain. Just as he settled in, the world shut down. Blades soon set to work on creating a set of music fit for these uncertain times. The result is his first self-released venture, *Kaleidoscope People*, an aptly vibrant, multi-hued collection of slow jams and sultry grooves. The project harkens back to his teenage years, recording basement jams for the pure love of music. Whether onstage or in the studio, Blades brings a singular energy rooted in tradition but always pushing forward.
