How did Motown become "the music that inspiured a generation?"
In this entertaining and educational multimedia lecture program, WCUW's own "Motown Tom" Ingrassia will share the story of the impact Motown and its artists had in mid-60s America. During a turbulent time in our history, Motown helped to bridge the gaps between the races. It didn't matter if you were black or white, rich or poor, male or female...we were ALL listening to, dancing to—and buying—Motown's music!
Having worked for Mary Wilson, of The Supremes—as well as other 60s music artists—"Motown Tom" has learned this story from the inside out...and he bribngs that insider information to The FrontRoom with this presentation.
