Collection Connection: A 99x Retrospective with Nicole Chilton

Step behind the scenes of 99x, the Springfield Art Museum’s signature fundraising event, with artist and Communications Specialist Nicole Chilton. Since its inception in 2016, 99x has transformed works from the Museum’s permanent collection into immersive, living art installations through fashion, performance, and bold creative expression. In this month's Collection Connection workshop, Nicole shares a year-by-year retrospective of the event’s evolution—including her involvement and process as a participating artist. In addition, get a sneak peek at this year’s featured artwork and think about how you would interpret it with a “tableau vivant.”
