Needle-felted Wool Snail Baby with Debbie

Learn to craft one of these adorable needle-felted wool snail babies in this fun and informative class with Debbie of Whispering Wool! You will choose your favorite wool colors and learn to make a simple wire armature. Debbie then shows how to wrap the armature to create a base for attaching and building up wool roving with a specially barbed needle. Students will add embellishments such as hair and coiled shell decoration, and then your new favorite gastropod snail baby will be complete! Once you know how, you’ll be making more at a speed much faster than a snail’s pace! Age 12+, please.

Materials fee covers: felting pad, specially-barbed needle, armature wire, and enough wool to make one snail baby in class and another at home!
