BIRTHING KIT ASSEMBLY &
BREAST CUSHION WORKSHOP
Come along to Zonta Macarthur’s Annual
Birthing Kit and Breast Cushion Workshop!
We are looking for volunteers to help us assemble birthing kits to assist women in developing countries have a safer childbirth. Since 2005, Zonta Macarthur has sent 10200 birthing kits to many developing countries -
Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Morocco, Kenya, Dakar, Uganda. Nigeria, Congo and Tanzania
We are also seeking volunteers to assist with fibre filling and packaging of our sewn breast care cushions. These then are distributed to local Macarthur women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Since 2007, with the help of volunteers, over 3200 cushions have been prepared to support women undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
When:Saturday 26 July 2025
Time:1pm – 4 pm
Where:WESTS Leagues Club, Leumeah
$2 project contribution per person
SPONSOR a birthing kit – they cost $5 and for each kit sponsored, you can go into the draw for some great prizes.
RSVP by Friday 22 July 2025 - required due to Health requirements
