Kick off the new school year with a joyful evening of family fun, food, and faith in the garden! Okra Abbey is a community giving garden and a mission of the Presbytery of South Louisiana.

π A worship service blessing students, teachers & families
π Giveaways including school supplies and books
Hosted by St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church in partnership with Okra Abbey. Come as you areβbring your backpacks, your loved ones, and your hopes for the year ahead!

Okra Abbey is open Mon-Thursday 8:30am-12:30pm.
Mon/Tues/Thurs we serve coffee at 8:30am.
Wednesdays at noon is Grace and Greens - our open table community meal.
100% of what we grow is shared through our Wednesday's lunch, our community refrigerator, and directly to our neighbors' porches.
