Sharp Mary Birch Breast Milk Drive

Home to the largest Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in San Diego, Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women & Newborns uses over 30,000 ounces of donated breastmilk every year to support the health and growth of our tiniest premature babies.

In support of the nationwide shortage of donor breastmilk, Sharp Mary Birch will be hosting its annual donor breastmilk drive and invites you to donate your excess frozen breastmilk – expressed within the last 9 months.

During World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Month, join us to donate at our event and enjoy:
- A check-in area with drawing and snacks for kids
- Giveaways
- Being entered into a raffle for a breastfeeding/new mom gift basket

For unregistered donors, please park in the Sharp Mary Birch parking structure - validation will be provided. Allow for 40 minutes for drop-off if you are not already registered with Mother’s Milk Bank.

If you pre-register at https://mothersmilk.org/donate-milk/get-started/, you may pull up to the roundabout entrance at Sharp Mary Birch to drop off your frozen breast milk.
