Electro-Shocking Science
July 29 @ 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
$15.00 β $25.00
(Master Naturalist Advanced Training)
July 23 got rained out, so weβre rescheduling to Tuesday July 29 and re-opening registration!
Just how do scientists study fish in our lakes and rivers? Max Wolter, Fisheries Biologist from the Wisconsin DNR, will teach us about a research method called electro-shocking used to survey fish populations. Practice your fish ID, too. Be prepared to get wet! Bring your own chest waders or just wear sturdy old shoes and observe from shore. Meet at Cap Creek Landing at 9 a.m. and finish by 11 a.m. You donβt have to be a certified Master Naturalist to participate! Any adult learners are welcome. Register by July 28.
$15 member/$25 non-member.
