WWOA’s Chippewa Valley and Bad Axe chapters have created an annual meeting that you won’t want to miss!

Thursday tour options are a day spent at Norskedalan Nature and Heritage Center or a Riverboat Tour. That evening we'll host our sharing experiences session, followed by a showing of the PBS Wisconsin Hometown Stories segment on the History of LaCrosse.

Friday we have four great tour options:

#1 Forest Management-featuring the Hixon Forest, Granddad Bluff, and Coulee Experimental Forest

#2 Forest Industry-featuring Rockland Flooring and Stella-Jones

#3 Forests and Fish of the Upper Mississippi-featuring US Fish and Wildlife Service and the US Army Corps of Engineers.

#4 LaCrosse Historical Tour-featuring the LaCrosse Heritage Center and the Hixon House

That afternoon you can enjoy our Friends & Exhibitors Social followed by a dinner buffet and evening raffle.

Saturday morning come listen to our keynote speaker, Fred Clark of Wisconsin's Green Fire and then stick around for our afternoon concurrent sessions and Landowners' Cafe covering topics such as property assessments, oak restoration, and working with a consulting forester.

During this time there will also be a sit and stitch craft session available for those who want to bring a craft to work on.

Saturday evening our Awards Banquet kicks off with a cash bar, delicious dinner, and time to discuss the day’s presentations with friends. After dinner, tickets will be drawn for the Annual Fundraiser prizes. Then help us recognize the WWOA’s Forestry Leader Scholarship recipient, Wisconsin Tree Farm Committee award winners, and fellow WWOA members (submit your nomination) who have given so much of their time and energy to WWOA and our mission.

Sunday we'll head out to Dave and Dianne Hoffman's property for our Field Day. We are still working on the station topics; but there will be eight to ten field stations on a variety of woodland topics available to choose from. A hot lunch will be served in the field.

Come for a tour, a day, or the whole weekend. We're looking forward to another great Annual Meeting. Here's to our 46th year!
