Calling all homeschool families and groups!

Join park staff for an educational tour of the Red Clay Council Grounds and a traditional Cherokee weapons demonstration as a part of our very first Homeschool Day! Learn about the history of the Red Clay Council Grounds and its significance to the Cherokee people.

Participants will meet on the Visitor Center porch to get started. The program will begin at 1:30 PM, so we ask that participants arrive around 1:15 PM to check in.

This program is appropriate for students grades 1 through 8. We will divide into two groups for the program: 1st - 5th, then 6th - 8th.

The cost of attendance is $2 per participating student.

Overflow parking will be available at the picnic pavilion.
