Project 1612 Art-Making Workshop with Peytin Fitzgerald

Join artist Peytin Fitzgerald for an all-ages art-making workshop in the backyard garden. This event takes place on Tuesday, August 12th from 5:00-7:00pm. Peytin will offer materials for folks to make an artwork inspired by their soft-sculptures and free-flowing textile work.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Peytin Fitzgerald is an interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Wyoming. They currently reside in Peoria, Illinois, where they moved after receiving their MFA in Printmaking at Illinois State University in 2022. They are currently making work in their home studio while working at a local restaurant. Although they are classically trained in printmaking, their work has expanded to other process based media such as hand dying fabric, embroidery, quilting, and other forms of
textile work.
This event is free and open to the public and is part of the Project 1612 exhibition titled βRipples: The Tenth Anniversary Invitational.β
