Cheese cake contest!

The Washburn County Fair has gone with a “Come on Home” theme and what better than a homemade cheesecake baking contest! What do you think of when you have a hankering for cheesecake? Use your creativity with the “Come on Home” theme. Bring your masterpiece cheesecake to Exhibition Hall on Saturday July 26, 2025. Registration is from 2:00-4:00 and judging begins at 4:00pm. The top three placings from both youth and adult categories will be sold at the Show and Sale Auction with the proceeds being used for improvements to Exhibition Hall. Each cheesecake must be made using the following criteria:

*Use of theme: Come on Home to the Washburn County Fair!

*The contest is open to individuals of all ages. Both amateur and professionals are welcome.

*One entry per person.

*Cheesecake must be baked and made from scratch.

*The whole cheesecake must be accompanied by a copy of the recipe

*Cheesecake must be displayed in a disposable container or plate not to be returned.

*Ribbons and Prize money will be awarded following the judging.

1st place $25.00, 2nd place $20.00, 3rd place $15.00
