Vancouver Island Metis Rendezvous

This is the largest Métis Rendezvous on Vancouver Island! Located at the Cowichan Exhibition Grounds in North Duncan. There is camping available for people on Friday and Saturday nights. The day is full of entertainment, including Don Freed, Campaign V’ni Danci, Sandy Scofield, Ed Peekeekoot, Ivan Flett Memorial Dancers, Raynie Gervais and the City Limits Band. There are Voyageur Games, workshops, archery, a tomahawk toss, a kids' zone, food, an Indigenous artisan marketplace, a cultural village, and guest speakers! To host an amazing event, we need amazing volunteers! We provide the volunteers with meals and a T-shirt for giving their time to help us throw this Metis Cultural Event.
