The Elgin Fringe Festival (EFF) returns for its twelfth year with a full month of events celebrating creativity and artistic risk-taking.
Pre-festival happenings begin in early September, building toward the main performance week from Friday, September 19, through Sunday, September 28. This uncurated, inclusive, and affordable arts festival brings together local and national talent across Elgin’s historic downtown, transforming the city into a hub for dance, theater, comedy, music, magic, and more.
With over 90 performances, the festival offers something for everyone—plus a Visual Art Exhibition, outdoor shows, and themed parties. Tickets range from free to $12, with $4 entry buttons and an all-access pass available for $95. All ticket sales directly support the artists.
