Join Meg (500RYT) for a fun, accessible and immersive Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga Workshop and dive into the fundamentals of one of yoga’s most empowering and traditional styles.

Ashtanga is a vinyasa style of yoga that follows a specific breath count and a set sequence of poses. This combination of breath and movement creates a meditation-in-motion while building physical and mental strength, providing a true purification for both the body and mind.

We will explore the history and philosophy behind the Ashtanga yoga method, the tristana method of breath, bandhas (energetic locks), and drishti (gaze point), foundational postures and adaptations of the Primary Series and also practical tips to develop a personal practice.

This workshop is for anyone interested in exploring Ashtanga yoga, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners.
