Join us as we mark the anniversary of the Charge of the Light Brigade with a house tour centred around the Crimean War and the 7th Earl of Cardigan.

Enjoy a ground-floor tour of this lived-in family home as we explore the infamous Charge of the Light Brigade and how the Crimean War became the first media war. We'll also delve into the life of the 7th Earl and his family, and look back at photographs of the Balaklava Centenary dinner held at Deene in 1954.
The tour ends with a visit to St. Peter's Church, where visitors will have exclusive access to the Brudenell family tomb and the final resting place of the 7th Earl and his wife Adeline.

Tickets include a Deene Tea, served in the Old Kitchen Tea Room, and access to the Garden.

Deene Tea Menu
Selection of finger sandwiches
Homemade sausage roll.
Selection of cakes.
