From September 19-21, 2025, the Wastemobile will offer free hazardous waste disposal at Puget Sound Fire Station #75 (15635 SE 272nd St, Kent, WA). Daily events operate from 10a.m. to 5p.m.
The Wastemobile offers King County residents and eligible businesses a safe, free, and convenient opportunity to dispose of household hazardous waste at no cost.
What is accepted at the Wastemobile?
βοΈ Fluorescent bulbs/tubes (limit of 10 per vehicle)
βοΈ Household cleaners
βοΈ Oil-based paint
βοΈ Gasoline, motor oil, and antifreeze (25-gal limit)
βοΈ Pesticides
βοΈ Household batteries (lead-acid, alkaline, button, rechargeable)
βοΈ Propane/butane gas tanks (5-gal limit)

π The Wastemobile is a drive-thru operation. Customers should remain in their vehicles at all times and follow directions by Wastemobile staff.
π Customers are asked to place their hazardous waste in their vehicleβs trunk, truck bed, or trailer.
This service is funded through a charge on your utility bills so you wonβt be charged a fee when you drop off your materials.
