Cambridgeshire Constabulary is to hold a forum dedicated to making its services more accessible to those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Itβs being held in partnership with Cambridgeshire Deaf Association (CDA) and the Office of Police and Crime Commissioner and will be supported by a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter, Police Link Officers for Deaf people (PLODs), live captions and a hearing loop.
Inspector Colin Norden and members of the Huntingdonshire neighbourhood team will attend the meeting to provide an input on neighbourhood policing and help answer community-based questions. A member of the Police and Crime Commissioners team will also attend.
The event is open to anyone who is deaf, hard of hearing or has hearing loss, and their family and friends. Parking will be available on site.
