Heritage Open Day Event; Parlington Hall & Estate

Every September thousands of volunteers across England organise events to celebrate our fantastic history and culture as part of the Heritage Open Days (HODs), organised locally by Leeds Civic Trust. This year 2025 after a gap of some years I shall be doing a talk about Parlington in the village hall. Previously I have done a walk and talk around the estate, but this year its to be a full blown talk about Parlington lasting over an hour, with lots of rare photographs and some new insights into the place.
This takes place on 14th September in the Aberford Village Hall from 3:00pm, My talk is accompanied by a comprehensive computer presentation. Seating will be provided, at the moment I am unsure about refreshments, more on that later. Apparently the hall can accommodate over 100 people, so no need to book.
