Ride across bridleways linked by country lanes and rural villages within easy access from the A1 Nottinghamshire.
Welcome to my hacking area! Enjoy 9 miles of scenic bridleways and country lanes. A mixture of terrain, including a stoney track begin to make up this scenic route. The opportunity to see plenty of wildlife may arise along the way. These bridleways are predominantly grass covered and gates will be manned where possible to do so. Cattle will be grazing in fields adjacent to the bridleways. Make your way through the next village, before turning up a track kindly offered to us for access on the day. Heading up the track before making your way back to the venue, you will venture upon a small woodland and a wooden bridge to cross a small stream of water.
If thatβs not enough and you wish to venture further, then 16 miles is on the cards. With a little more road work along country lanes, you will venture upon the next village before a further lane leads on to more bridleways. This is likely to be the busier road to ride, but is part of our daily hacking. These next bridleways are a mix of terrain and are stonier than the others in places, but they do offer grass to the middle and at the sides. Enjoy a blast up the final field before heading back down through the village to the venue.
