Fisherton Meadows - Maintenance Session

Mark from Salisbury City Council will be leading a short maintenance session on the Meadows - It was origionally planned as a perimpiter ragwort pull but as there is very little this year, just lots of 100% benign tansy, it should provide an opportunity to trim back some of the expanding bramble runners (& sample early blackberries!), clear around the now established hedging etc: Do bring field guides/ cameras with apps etc to identif and record any species spotted to add to the sites expanding list - Lots of butterflies, grasshoppers and crickets there to day (Wed) . Meet by the gate to the far meadow at W3W tilt.assure.adults which is about 170m along the track at the end of Kensington Rd (just beyond the tennis club's top gate). If possible bring your own gardening gloves and secateurs for the brambles!
