It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend, Greg Greer, co-owner of J&G Interstate Transport. While there will not be a traditional funeral service, we are honored to help celebrate his life in a way that truly reflects the community and spirit he loved so much.
Our company will be leading a procession of tow trucks, emergency vehicles, and anything off-road, modified, lifted, or tricked-out just like Greg would love! This will be a “Light Up” in Greg’s honor — a show of lights, unity, and love.
🕯️ Date: Saturday, July 26th
🕐 Convoy Start Time: 9:00pm.
If everyone could arrive at or before 8:30 so we can be ready to roll closely together that would be courteous and amazing!
📍 Starting Location: Ted Everett Farm Equipment. 11998 IN-39, Monrovia, IN 46157
We will then proceed to the celebration of life being hosted at: Freije & Freije Auctioneers.
2340 W US Highway 40, Clayton, IN 46118
🚗 Procession Route:
We will leave Ted Everett Farm Equipment and go west on County Line Road, turn north on County Road 0, then turn west on Tudor Road, taking that all the way to US 40. We will turn east on US 40, and Freije’s is about a mile or so down on the left hand side. When we get onto US 40, we all need to get in the left hand lane and remain in that lane only.
We will pause in front of the celebration venue for a moment of silence, followed by a final round of horns — a send-off as loud and proud as the life we’re honoring. After the tribute, those who wish are welcome to park and join the celebration of life, or continue on their way.
Let’s show up big, with lights on and hearts full. Greg would’ve loved this — let’s give him a farewell he’ll feel from the stars.
