Sewing 101 + Machine Orientation

In this workshop participants will learn the basics of sewing machine operation (for domestic and industrial sewing machines at MSYK) and then make square pin cushion to put their learning into practice! Participants will learn how to thread the sewing machine, wind a bobbin, change a needle, adjust tension and do some stitching!
Participants can also bring their own machine if they would like to learn how to do more sewing at home. Please bring your machine manual too if you have it!
This workshop is for beginners, recommended ages 14+ .
