World War II Rations Challenge

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the conclusion of World War II. During the war, American consumers were greatly limited in their purchasing due to rationing that was put in place. Rationing affected food purchases, travel, clothing and more. In this program, we’ll focus on food rationing. Come learn about what was rationed, when and why, and then experiment to see if you could feed your family on ration points and recipes.
