Have you ever been too intimidated or just don't feel safe enough to join a self-defense or martial arts class?
Then join us on Saturday, August 9, at 1 pm as Mike and Lindsey from Sanford Yoga and Community Canter walk you through some easy-to-use self-defense maneuvers that will help you build confidence and strength in your body and mind. With more than 20 years of martial arts experience, they will be able to guide you into building greater autonomy in your movements.
They hold a safe, trauma-informed space for participants of any fitness level. You will learn dynamic bodyweight techniques designed for real-world challenges. You will also be offered a small meditation to ease integration and calm your nervous system.
This class allows for peaceful warriors to grow stronger as a community as we treat each individual with dignity and self-respect.
