“Sew”stainable: Repairs, upcycling, and open sewing hour

Sewing and sustainability go hand in hand! Join us in these sessions for open-sewing time and to learn the basics of clothing repair and mending.

Each month we will feature a new skill:

April - Patch Pockets
May - Inserting Seam Pockets
June - Embroidery for repairs
July - Removing sleeves from clothing
August - Insertion Lace

Basic sewing supplies will be provided. Feel free to use our sewing machines to work on your projects.


This is a free program and everyone is welcome! A library card is never required to visit or attend programs at the library.
