Broom People at Brews & Tunes

Main Street Brews and Tunes will host musical guest Broom People this Sunday, August 24 from 7 p.m. on the International Storytelling Plaza. Rockin Rivet Pizza food truck will be on site along with local brews from Main Street Café.
The Broom People are a new local indie/jam band from Johnson City, known for their laid-back sound and original songs like “The Ballad of Bone War” and “The Crosby Song”.
This event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to ensure seating. Food and Brews will start being served at 4 p.m. There will be rotating food trucks and brews on tap each week.
Yoga in the Park takes place during Brews & Tunes at 4 p.m. in Jimmy Neil Smith Park behind the International Storytelling Center. Each class last about an hour. There is no cost to participate; however, donations are welcome. All levels are welcome, from beginner to advanced, and this series will be taught by certified instructors in the area. Participants can bring your yoga mat, towel, or blanket. These classes are weather permitting. Learn more about Jonesborough.com/yoga.
